#DigitalWorldsICONO - Editions Closing - September 2025 - By #AlvaroLópezTostado for #ICONOEdiciones

September bids farewell with a deafening noise coming from a single epicenter: the White House. Every move, every decree, every diplomatic tantrum from the far-right team orbiting the #TRUMPFactor, that #BlackHand #BigMouth, who is D.J. Trump, becomes a barrage that directly hits our consciences. They stun, saturate, tire. There is no room for pause because a new media coup immediately replaces the previous one, crudely amplified by FOX, mercilessly replicated by DW, France, and other loudspeakers who no longer inform, but instead repeat the score of power ad nauseam. Toxic scenarios like #VonderLyen or the diarrheal gasps of the Secretary of Defense now wanting his military officers to be copies of KEN (the Barbie doll).

The news moves so fast that depression looms. We are forced to take refuge in our own digital trenches, in the thousands of #ICONOBanners and #ICONOSuperBanners of #MundosDigitalesICONO, filled with #DigitalPheromones as if they were visual antidotes to hopelessness. We deploy them not only as aesthetic propaganda, but as vents of color and memory to counteract the absolute grayness of the agenda imposed on us from Washington.

This month was marked by symbols of a decaying system: The #NetanyahuFactor shouting at the UN before a tired and resigned audience; the White House closing streets and squares with tear gas and chain-link fences; The shadow of the murder of a conservative activist, which has become a political spectacle; and, above all, the certainty that the right, cloaked in the guise of democracy, operates as predators of all humanism. ICE raids in different US cities; the tourist solitude of Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Orlando, etc.

They want us to surrender, trapped in the tireless repetition of a discourse designed to normalize violence. But there, in that same saturation, we discover the need to return to words and symbols: editorials that resist, banners that illuminate, memory that refuses to surrender to the void. Mundos Digitales ICONO then becomes an emotional and cultural counterweight: a space to distract ourselves from depression, to rebel with images and texts against the unbearable noise of news that seeks to dictate what we think, what we feel, and even what we keep quiet.

September 2025 confirms that the battle is no longer just political or diplomatic. It's psychological. It's emotional. It's cultural. And faced with the White House machine and its global echo chambers, our response is the same as always: don't let ourselves be dragged down, don't let ourselves be stunned.

Resist with banners, with editorials, with words transformed into memory and into a cry. Because if they try to stifle hope, we raise our eyes and fill the digital walls with colors, ideas, and symbols that remind them that not everything is under their control. Thus, the media's intention is to visually narrate content that sometimes has nothing to do with reality.
